The Simple Woman’s Daybook: January 22, 2018

For Today… January 22, 2018

Simple Woman's Daybook

Looking out my window… dark. It was sunny today but cold in the high 40’s F.

I am thinking… about my court hearing on January 30th. Not looking forward to it.

I am thankful… for all the men and women and children who marched in anniversary events for the Women’s March this weekend. There were at least one million people (easily more) participating. I’m bummed that I couldn’t participate because of my lungs and throat, but I did make it possible for others to march, so that helps a little.

One of my favorite things… the quiet of being the only one awake.

I am wearing… jammies. Clothes for today were a blue-green shirt and jeans.

I am creating… Excel projects that are due on Wednesday.

I am reading… Searching for Sunday by Rachel Held Evans for the second time.

I am hoping… that Daniel’s appointment with the Seattle Children’s Hospital Autism Center goes well.

I am learning… how to make pivot tables, so that’s awesome. (Knowing how to do them is pretty much a requirement for hiring for most jobs I would be seeking.)

In my kitchen… leftover tortellini in Costco’s pesto — surprisingly good for commercial pesto!

In the school room… Daniel is speaking more and more.

Post Script… this looks promising if I can get my act together.

Jen isn't quite sure when she lost her mind, but it is probably documented here on Meditatio. She blogs because the world needs her snark at all hours of the night... and she probably can't sleep anyway.
