{"id":1045,"date":"2005-06-19T17:07:52","date_gmt":"2005-06-19T22:07:52","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=1045"},"modified":"2005-06-19T17:07:52","modified_gmt":"2005-06-19T22:07:52","slug":"more-on-recovery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/grace-filled.net\/?p=1045","title":{"rendered":"More On Recovery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been reading <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesockgirl.com\">Cheryl&#8217;s<\/a> archives and I feel pretty blessed because my gallbladder struggles have been *NOTHING* compared to hers.  I&#8217;m doing pretty well already &#8212; I made it to church this morning (albeit doped on Toradol) and I walked 2.5 miles today in 90F heat without too much of a problem.  (Note to self: TAKE MORE WATER ALONG.)  Yes&#8230; I am a masochist and I know it&#8217;s only been 3 days since surgery.  Yes, the instructions to rest and take it easy were wasted on me.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m amazed at all of this because I was so at peace with the surgery &#8212; there were parts that I really wasn&#8217;t thrilled about (the injection in my stomach for example) but for the most part, it was really easy surgery to have.  This is pretty amazing because I am one of the biggest worriers in the world.  (Those who know me in real life can attest to this.)
