The dressing came off of one of my sutures yesterday so I actually got to see my incision. It basically just looks like a cut with 5 staples in it. I pondered the thought of taking a picture but decided against it because it would likely gross people out.<\/p>\n
The suture in my navel is being really obnoxious so I’m seeing my P.A. about it in an hour. I figure that he’d probably *like* me to see him before I rip the sucker out myself.<\/p>\n
I’m thinking that the idea to pierce my navel someday is not a good one?<\/p>\n

\nThey took my staples out. It was less painful than I thought it would be and I now have “steri strips” on my incisions. The adhesive is still fairly sticky so I’ll probably have blue fibers attached from my shirt. I got to see my navel for the first time in about a week and it’s pretty freaky looking. I’m not sure I’m going to have a career as a swimsuit or lingerie model but I can live with that.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
