But&#8230; rather than focus on the bad (which is unfortunately tempting), here are the positives for this year.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>God&#8217;s presence in my life.<\/li>\n<li>Having Jon in my life<\/li>\n<li>My kitties<\/li>\n<li>Tying quilts with WELCA&#8217;s in Montana and Minnesota and the fellowship I gained from that<\/li>\n<li>Pontooning with my WELCA in Minnesota<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/blogathon.peacefulwaters.org\">Blogathon 2005<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Recovering so quickly from surgery<\/li>\n<li>Montana &#8212; it&#8217;s just a good thing this year<\/li>\n<li>Thanksgiving with family<\/li>\n<li>Christmas with family<\/li>\n<li>Getting to hang out with Melissa while I was in Washington<\/li>\n<li>Time with my mommy (and other family) while I was in Washington<\/li>\n<li>Baking bread with Benjamin and Nathaniel while I was in Washington<\/li>\n<li>Psych-testing in Minneapolis<\/li>\n<li>Getting my driver&#8217;s license&#8230; twice<\/li>\n<li>The support I got after the journal fiasco<\/li>\n<li>Being able to get the domain name I wanted<\/li>\n<li>The amazing friendships I&#8217;ve made this year on and offline<\/li>\n<li>Beating the self-injury thing.  (It&#8217;s been 6 months.  This is good, OK?)<\/li>\n<li>The kids at all 5 churches I&#8217;ve been part of this year<\/li>\n<li>Baking with Ca, Ke, and Ka for the open house<\/li>\n<li>People in Minnesota who loved me through all the yuckiness<\/li>\n<li>Jon getting through the call process in only 2 weeks<\/li>\n<li>Having family only an hour and a half away<\/li>\n<li>Being on meds that actually keep me stable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ll just say it: this year sucked for me.
