FOR TODAY<\/strong> June 27, 2011<\/p>\n

Outside my window…<\/strong> icky and hot. They’re claiming it’s only 80 but I don’t believe them.<\/p>\n

I am thinking…<\/strong> about the new SSI mess (the idiot at SSA faxed Daniel’s Medicaid to the wrong county) and about the meeting with Easter Seals this afternoon.<\/p>\n

I am thankful for…<\/strong> the nap I got this morning.<\/p>\n

From the kitchen…<\/strong> my own turkey sub.<\/p>\n

I am wearing…<\/strong> a coffee-colored polo shirt and khaki capris.<\/p>\n

I am creating…<\/strong> this entry.<\/p>\n

I am going…<\/strong> to Trader Joe’s for more basil plants and probably Target for snail bait.<\/p>\n

I am reading…<\/strong> Quiverfull<\/u> by Kathryn Joyce. Yep… ploughing ahead even though I skipped the majority of chapter 8 because I didn’t want to hear about people advocating the proof-texting of Biblical verses as an excuse to beat and kill their wives.<\/p>\n

I am hoping…<\/strong> we can get this SSI mess sorted out soon.<\/p>\n

I am hearing…<\/strong> PBS kids in the living room and Daniel eating Cheerios next to me.<\/p>\n

Around the house…<\/strong> I had to move stuff out of the bottom drawer of our filing cabinet because Daniel was going after it.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite things…<\/strong> ice-cold Capri Sun juice packs.<\/p>\n

A few plans for the rest of the week:<\/strong> therapies for Daniel and heading to my parents’ house on Friday for the long weekend so Jon can organize his study.<\/p>\n
