I decided to only do the Five Favorites meme at Moxie Wife as one of the entries and do a couple other small link-ups, which has meant that I&#8217;ve had to write two posts on Thursdays and Sundays to keep the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conversiondiary.com\/2014\/02\/7-quick-takes-about-man-voice-last-minute-travel-and-recording-your-audiobook-in-a-bad-accent.html\" title=\"7 Quick Takes: February 27, 2014\">7 Quick Takes<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/thesimplewomansdaybook.blogspot.com\/\" title=\"The Simple Woman's Daybook\">The Simple Woman&#8217;s Daybook<\/a> separate.<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It had been probably 30 years since I had a shamrock shake from <a href=\"http:\/\/mcdonalds.com\" title=\"McDonalds\">McDonalds<\/a> and my <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\" title=\"Twitter\">Twitter<\/a> has been full of people talking about having one.  Given that I am an adult and can consent to purchase and consume one, I thought &#8220;why not?&#8221; and headed over to my local <a href=\"http:\/\/mcdonalds.com\" title=\"McDonalds\">McDonalds<\/a> to try one.<\/p>\n<p>My take: <strong>a waste of $3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Seriously, I&#8217;m a huge fan of any thing mint-flavored so I thought I&#8217;d like this.  The thing tasted like toothpaste and for the caloric load, I could have consumed 3\/4 of a container of <a href=\"https:\/\/talentigelato.com\/our-products\/\" title=\"Talenti gelato\"><\/a>Talenti Mediterranean Mint gelato.  I&#8217;m also a bit afraid to go online and look at the ingredient list after seeing a sign about <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.americanbar.org\/buslaw\/blt\/2009-05-06\/sacro.shtml\" title=\"Prop 65 food warnings\">this<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My two cents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is the last day of the challenge to write 7 posts in 7 days.
