We went to see the accountant who is doing our taxes today. He got our information and will file our stuff electronically. He also dropped an interesting bombshell: our taxes are now quarterly and will be $1300 on April 15th. I wish I’d known this 2 months ago when I could have done something about it. *sigh* Such is life. We’ll come up with the funds even though it puts a kink in our lives for the next 6 weeks. I talked to my in-laws and they told me about some things that I should have brought up and he should have asked about, so maybe some of that figure can decrease. We’ll see.<\/p>\n
Our local classifieds finally had a job that might be viable for me. (“Viable” means that it isn’t nursing, animal husbandry, farm work, or waitressing.) One of the local hospitals needs a charge receptionist and scheduler. I’m applying as I might actually have a shot at it even if it isn’t huge.
