After trying to tie it again for 15 minutes with her howling, I called Rachel (her vet) and Rachel offered to re-suture her tonight if we&#8217;d bring her in.<\/p>\n<p>The roads weren&#8217;t bad when we set out but after the suturing, it was pretty much zero visibility.  We pulled off of the highway at one point&#8230; only to have a sheriff find us, tap on our window, and ask us why we were sitting in a ditch.  When we explained that we had no idea where we were because of the blowing snow, he instructed us on how to get out and then had us follow him to our town.
