I spent my day cleaning, going for a nice walk (it was 50F today and lovely), and teaching Confirmation. We played the “review game” which is kind of like Taboo. The kids had to describe the term for the others to guess. It was a fun class, especially since the snack that the kids brought was chips and salsa.<\/p>\n
Jon’s round-robin gig was lovely tonight. The people were actually friendly and they had a coffee time afterward. It was a small crowd, but there were a number of kids there and they all sang even if most people were sitting in the back. (Lutherans have a complex about not sitting in the front. It’s the biggest joke because the latecomers go to the balcony to avoid being in the front.) Unlike last week, we only had heavy rain instead of blowing snow and it was actually a pleasant drive to and from the church.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
