FOR TODAY<\/strong> August 24, 2014<\/p>\n

Outside my window…<\/strong> dark and cool. A nice change from the heat of the day.<\/p>\n

I am thinking…<\/strong> about the errands I have to do tomorrow morning while Daniel is in school as well as the dental work that will be coming up.<\/p>\n

I am thankful…<\/strong> for my mother-in-law watching Daniel this afternoon so I could have a much needed nap.<\/p>\n

In the kitchen…<\/strong> pesto tortellini tonight.<\/p>\n

I am wearing…<\/strong> a plum heather shirt from Old Navy<\/a> and black capri sweats from Target<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I am praying for…<\/strong> a new parish for Jon, healing for some of the people in my life, and for some special intentions.<\/p>\n

I am going…<\/strong> on “epic errands” tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n

I am reading…<\/strong> Skeleton Letters<\/u> by Laura Childs. I’m binge-reading all of her scrapbooking murder mysteries.<\/p>\n

I am hoping…<\/strong> Daniel does well this week at taking the bus to school. I’m also hoping that we have the same bus driver as last week because she was very nice.<\/p>\n

I am hearing…<\/strong> my girls being nocturnal.<\/p>\n

Around the house…<\/strong> silence as I’m probably the only one up.<\/p>\n

A favorite quote for today…<\/strong> “Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and go well with ketchup.”<\/p>\n

One of my favorite things…<\/strong> ice chips.<\/p>\n

A few plans for the rest of the week:<\/strong> working on my proficiencies for ODesk<\/a>, doing errands as needed, and whatever else comes up. I don’t know that I have any really major plans.<\/p>\n
