He is an amazing pastor, a brilliant musician, and awesome enough that he wore the cat ears I sent him for his graduation from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fuller.edu\/cats\/\" title=\"Center for Advanced Theological Studies\">the CATS program<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fuller.edu\/\" title=\"Fuller Theological Seminary\">Fuller<\/a> to his hooding ceremony.  He tells me daily (I live with them) that he loves me and that he&#8217;s glad that I&#8217;m part of the family.  His birthday was this past Tuesday and I am incredibly grateful for another year with him.<\/p>\n<p><center><strong>Two<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>My mother-in-law.<\/strong> She is totally a Proverbs 31 woman.  Today alone she came with me to the library to watch Daniel while I checked out some books and fed\/watched him so I could shower\/eat before choir practice.<\/p>\n<p><center><strong>Three<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>Martyrs reading Joel Osteen tweets.<\/strong> I tip my hat to <a href=\"http:\/\/remnantofremnant.blogspot.com\/\" title=\"Fear Not Little Flock\">Priest&#8217;s Wife<\/a> for this. It seriously brings home the ridiculousness of Joel Osteen&#8217;s preaching and the heresy of the Prosperity Gospel.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;margin-top:15px;margin-bottom:15px;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Martyrs Read Joel Osteen Tweets!\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KA_wWmVlypg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><center><strong>Four<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>Singing in the church choir.<\/strong>  I joined the choir at the church I&#8217;ve been attending and ended up being the only choir member there for the first 10 minutes of practice.  It was a wonderful opportunity to get to know the director,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.apu.edu\/cma\/faculty\/rsage\/\" title=\"Dr. Robert Sage\">Dr. Robert Sage<\/a>, better.  He&#8217;s a professor at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apu.edu\/\" title=\"Azusa Pacific University\">Azusa Pacific<\/a>, the director of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.claremontso.org\/\" title=\"Claremont Symphony Orchestra\">Claremont Symphony Orchestra<\/a>, and a friend of my father-in-law.  It was a fun evening to sing with the choir and I&#8217;m seriously looking forward to singing under <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apu.edu\/cma\/faculty\/rsage\/\" title=\"Dr. Sage\">Dr. Sage<\/a> while I&#8217;m down here.<\/p>\n<p><center><strong>Five<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>Calm and quiet.<\/strong> It&#8217;s how I&#8217;m recharging right now.
