FOR TODAY<\/strong> October 19, 2014<\/p>\n

Outside my window…<\/strong> sunny and in the 80’s. We might see some rain tomorrow and I’m looking forward to it.<\/p>\n

I am thinking…<\/strong> about many many things that I’ll journal out later after I do the watering and shower.<\/p>\n

I am thankful…<\/strong> that I got to be present for Rev. Kate’s last Sunday at the Episcopal Church in Almaden<\/a>, the church that loved me as I was a teenaged convert trying to figure out my salvation with fear and trembling.<\/p>\n

In the kitchen…<\/strong> Jimmy chicken, a family recipe. I made a normal batch for myself so I’d have a few days of dinners.<\/p>\n

I am wearing…<\/strong> my Reclaim Hope<\/a> shirt and running shorts.<\/p>\n

I am praying for…<\/strong> a call for Jon, for a few intentions for people in my life, and for discernment as I’m kind of in a crossroads of my life.<\/p>\n

I am going…<\/strong> for lots of walks this week.<\/p>\n

I am wondering…<\/strong> where my parents’ Maine Coon cat is.<\/p>\n

I am reading…<\/strong> Evolving in Monkey Town<\/u> by Rachel Held Evans. It’s a re-read.<\/p>\n

I am hoping…<\/strong> for rain tomorrow.<\/p>\n

I am looking forward to…<\/strong> more quiet time and maybe even coffee with Rebecca<\/a> later this week.<\/p>\n

I am hearing…<\/strong> the whirring of the fan on my computer.<\/p>\n

Around the house…<\/strong> cat fur.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite things…<\/strong> solitude.<\/p>\n
