For Today…<\/strong> January 1, 2017<\/p>\n

Looking out my window…<\/strong> dark. I don’t think it’s snowing right now — it’s just down in the low 20’s.<\/p>\n

I am thinking…<\/strong> about how to get all of my school errands done on Tuesday in addition to everything else on my plate. I have to buy books and get another parking pass.<\/p>\n

I am thankful…<\/strong> that Daniel goes back to school on Tuesday morning. Kiddo has cabin fever.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite things…<\/strong> quiet time in a dark room. Daniel just woke up so my chances of that for the rest of the night are shot.<\/p>\n

I am wearing…<\/strong> jammies. Clothes today for church and the rest of the time were a charcoal grey\/white speckled shirt, jeans, and my black boots. I usually dress up for church but we had enough new snow and the prospect of crappy roads so I decided to keep it simple.<\/p>\n

I am creating…<\/strong> socks for my mom.<\/p>\n

I am reading…<\/strong> The Abbey<\/u> by James Martin, S.J.<\/p>\n

I am hoping…<\/strong> using my phone as an e-reader ends up being helpful for me. (My NOOK<\/a> died tonight.)<\/p>\n

I am learning…<\/strong> how to drive in snow again.<\/p>\n

In my kitchen…<\/strong> mom made pork chops, risotto, and salad for dinner tonight. Dessert was a Grand Marnier bundt cake.<\/p>\n

In the school room…<\/strong> Daniel goes back to school on Tuesday and I start back on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
