God, please help me to love your people<\/a>, even when I think they’re being stupid…<\/p>\n

My impression of Bush’s faith is that it is a whitewashed tomb<\/a>. He quotes Scripture and hymn lyrics in his speeches (or attempts to make witty allusions to them and ends up confusing all those who are not well-versed in either) but I have yet to see his actions actually measure up. Yes… he’s pro-life. He also isn’t doing squat for the children that weren’t aborted but are living in poverty. “No Child Left Behind” is the biggest joke in the educational community because the funding isn’t there to make it work. If Bush claims to be such a strong Christian, doesn’t he know that faith without works is dead<\/a> (i.e. he needs to put his money where his big fat mouth is)?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
