<\/center><\/p>\n<\/a>— 1 —<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Why yes, I am a geek.<\/strong> It turns out that Douglas Adams was onto something when he wrote that the \u201canswer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything\u201d is 42. Apparently, there are 42 million proteins in a cell at any given time<\/a>. Cool, eh?<\/p>\n <\/a>— 2 —<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Daffodils.<\/strong> I was sitting at $tarbux earlier and complimented a woman on the daffodils that she had bought. She smiled and put them up to my nose so I could smell them. \ud83d\ude42 I can’t wait for the tulips<\/a> in a week and a half!<\/p>\n <\/a>— 3 —<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n I can’t believe it.<\/strong> In midst of being sick and dealing with legal crap this quarter, I managed to pull an actual 4.0 for my GPA. I’m actually kind of shocked because I figured I’d probably have an A- in my 10-Key class but my perfect score on the final balanced it all out. Duuuude…<\/p>\n <\/a>— 4 —<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Striving for balance.<\/strong> Kelly<\/a> asked in this week’s Quick Takes<\/a> how school is going and how do I balance it all?<\/p>\n I’m currently on Spring Break and will start back on April 3rd. I have 4 classes with two of them in-person and I’m also going to be the department’s tutor this quarter. This means one-on-one tutoring (which I already have done since my first quarter though now I’ll get paid for it) and doing drop-in tutoring hours. I’ll have everything on campus with me bookwise depending on the day and what I’m doing, and I’ll be spending any spare time in the computer lab doing homework or crocheting while watching YouTube<\/a> because I need to get this baby blanket done before the squish is born in June\/July.<\/p>\n <\/a>— 5 —<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Prerequisite choir take.<\/strong> We’re doing the Hallelujah Chorus for Easter and my choir director found one that is pitched in C instead of in D. I know the general alto part well but this video helps to get it in my ear.<\/p>\n
