The call of nature woke me up this morning at 6:30 (though my alarm wasn’t gonna go off until 8:30) and after answering it, I couldn’t get back to sleep. I decided to do the thing that I knew would work: have a glass of Instant Breakfast. Small problem: when I brought it back to the bedroom, I accidentally knocked it over with my covers and it went flying. I screamed for Jon and he came and helped me rescue my library books and a couple other ones that had gotten hit. I spent the next hour cleaning it up, stripping my bed, and trying to keep the cats away from the mess (since they wanted to “help”). I tossed some Resolve on the carpet and that seems to have worked for the most part. I think we’ll have to borrow a carpet cleaner this weekend, which is cool because we need to steam clean the carpets anyway.<\/p>\n
My alarm goes off in 30 minutes so that I can shower before going to a doctor’s appointment with Jon. Hopefully, I can get my sheets in the dryer and take a nap when I get back…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
