I now understand why spring cleaning is so popular — you have to have something to do in early March when the weather shifts from spring (Saturday and Sunday) to fall\/winter (the last few days).<\/p>\n

I did the following today:
\n+ cleaned the microwave
\n+ cleaned out the trash
\n+ tossed out our massive plastic bag collection
\n+ cleaned the dish drainer
\n+ did two dishwasher loads
\n+ cleaned the counters
\n+ baked two loaves of apple bread
\n(Thank you Flylady<\/a>!)<\/p>\n

Before pre-marital counselling, I need to get the clothes from downstairs to upstairs with Jon’s help. <\/p>\n

Surprises<\/strong>
\nOne of my parishioners (who is a pastor’s mommy — her middle son is an ELCA pastor serving abroad) stopped by with a card for us. Inside the card was $100 and a note saying “Use this for groceries or taxes”. I’m thinking income taxes and subsidizing $20 of a new digital mouse?
