Let me just make something very clear: I am not a blue dog Democrat. (I’m not! I’m not! I’m not!) I vote for people, not parties. However, the following must be said:<\/p>\n

The Good
\n<\/strong>[-] Dems are back in control of the House! It has been ransomed from the evil Republican captors.
\n<\/strike>[-] My state contributed to what I hope will be the Democratic takeover of the Senate. (Hello Jon Tester! Good-bye Conrad Burns!)
\n[-] Virginia likely has a Democratic senator too though the racist thug<\/strike> Senator Allen will probably call for a recount.
\n[-] Claire McCaskill kicked her opponent’s butt in Missouri.
\n[-] My home-girl Nancy Pelosi is poised to become the first ever female Speaker of the House. (Hopefully Dennis Hastert didn’t leave anything behind on her rightful throne.)
\n[-] Rick Santorum got pwned!!!
\n[-] Mike DeWine got slaughtered!!!!!!!
\n[-] Montana’s minimum wage got raised by an overwhelming majority.
\nThe Bad
\n<\/strong>[-] Bob Corker ran a filthy racist campaign in Tennessee… and won. It’s so painful to know that racism still exists in the South.
\n[-] The Robo-Calling. Like I needed 50,000 more phone calls to screen.
\n[-] Monica Lindeen didn’t win the House seat for Montana. (I really don’t care that much about her or Denny Rehburg in all honesty — I kinda just voted Democrat to help them out.)
\n[-] The Governator is back in California. (Phil Angelides, you suck!)<\/p>\n

The Concession Speeches
\n<\/strong>[-] Harold Ford Jr: so much grace and eloquence — Tennessee, you don’t deserve his presence in your state!
\n[-] Conrad Burns: we’re waiting!
\n[-] George Allen: just get off your high horse and admit that Webb pwned you by 7000 votes.<\/p>\n
