FOR TODAY<\/strong> August 8, 2011<\/p>\n

Outside my window…<\/strong> dark of night. It was an OK day though in terms of heat.<\/p>\n

I am thinking…<\/strong> that it’s going to be hard to get up tomorrow for Daniel’s speech therapy. (It’s at 8:45 and it’s a 40 minute drive away.)<\/p>\n

I am thankful…<\/strong> for the snuggle nap I got with Daniel today.<\/p>\n

From the learning rooms…<\/strong> nothing new, I’m afraid.<\/p>\n

In the kitchen…<\/strong> butter thawing in the fridge for cookies. (It had been in the church freezer.)<\/p>\n

I am wearing…<\/strong> black t-shirt, black sweat capris, and a black scrunchie in my hair. Edda (my house panther) approves.<\/p>\n

I am creating…<\/strong> entries for Michelle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I am going…<\/strong> to Sacramento tomorrow with a probable stop at WinCo on the way home.<\/p>\n

I am wondering…<\/strong> if we’re going to use up all the cookies from Wednesday at the farmer’s market on Thursday.<\/p>\n

I am reading…<\/strong> the Dearest Dorothy<\/i> books by Charlene Ann Baumbich, a long-ago friend of this blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I am hoping…<\/strong> Daniel’s clot is gone. The ultrasound tech didn’t see it on the Doppler this afternoon so I’m cautiously optimistic.<\/p>\n

I am looking forward to…<\/strong> baking with two of my favorite people on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

I am hearing…<\/strong> Jon reading to Daniel and He Man and the Masters of the Universe<\/i> on TV.<\/p>\n

Around the house…<\/strong> chaos — trying not to think about this.<\/p>\n

I am pondering…<\/strong> various and assorted things.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite things…<\/strong>Trader Joe’s<\/a> Iced Tea Lemonade.<\/p>\n

A few plans for the rest of the week…<\/strong> speech therapy tomorrow, physical therapy tomorrow or Wednesday, farmer’s market on Thursday, and possibly the Train Museum on Friday.<\/p>\n

Here is picture for thought I am sharing…<\/strong> Daniel with his “laptop”. He’s addicted to ours so my mom got him his own.<\/p>\n
