It has ranged from the select choirs at the Claremont colleges to lunchtime harp recitals to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.claremontso.org\/\">Claremont Symphony Orchestra<\/a> concerts such as the one we attended last Sunday.  These are definitely not concerts I would have attended on my own, so I am incredibly grateful to my father-in-law Ray for helping me expand my taste in classical music.<\/p>\n<p><center><strong>Three<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>Early music with harps.<\/strong>  Another pretty one by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/harpedemelodie\">la harpe de melodie<\/a>.  This one is &#8220;O Viridissima Virga&#8221; by <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hildegard_of_Bingen\">St. Hildegard of Bingen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;margin-top:15px;margin-bottom:15px;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"O Viridissima Virga\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PCpHhyhf6MA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><center><strong>Four<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jenny Lawson.<\/strong>  I am so incredibly thankful for Jenny Lawson, a.k.a. <a href=\"http:\/\/thebloggess.com\/\">The Bloggess<\/a> because she is giving mental illness a face and her latest book is educating people about what it looks like.  As one dealing with depression and an anxiety disorder, I appreciate this more than most.<\/p>\n<p><center><strong>Five<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>The hymn tune &#8220;THAXTED&#8221;.<\/strong>  It comes from Gustav Holst&#8217;s orchestral suite &#8220;The Planets&#8221; and is the tune for &#8220;Jupiter&#8221;.
