FOR TODAY<\/strong> April 10, 2016<\/p>\n

Outside my window…<\/strong> dark. It was grey with intermittent rain showers today. Despite being out of my migraine preventative (and having a doctor who refuses to prescribe it), I’m loving the weather.<\/p>\n

I am thinking…<\/strong> about this week and the chaos it will bring.<\/p>\n

I am thankful…<\/strong> that Daniel was in a cuddly mood today and decided to take a nap so I could have one as well.<\/p>\n

In the kitchen…<\/strong> leftovers tomorrow.<\/p>\n

I am wearing…<\/strong> my Run for the Little Flowers<\/a> shirt and black capri sweats.<\/p>\n

I am going…<\/strong> to pray for a somewhat quiet week for Daniel’s Spring Break even though I know I’m totally out of luck on that one!<\/p>\n

I am wondering…<\/strong> how Tuesday will go.<\/p>\n

I am reading…<\/strong> Accidental Saints<\/u> by Nadia Bolz-Weber<\/a>. I also have a ton of books checked out of the library as well.<\/p>\n

I am hoping…<\/strong> for calmness in my day tomorrow… even though I know that it’s NOT going to happen.<\/p>\n

I am looking forward to…<\/strong> all the home repairs and improvements being done!<\/p>\n

A Daniel story for today…<\/strong> he kept asking for “shower” and we kept telling him that it was too early for his shower. When he took his nap this afternoon, Mom and I finally figured out why he was asking — his shower always comes before he goes to sleep at night so he thought he ought to have one before his nap!<\/p>\n

Around the house…<\/strong> repairs\/renovations\/ordered chaos.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite things…<\/strong> music. It enriches my life.<\/p>\n

A few plans for the rest of the week:<\/strong> collateral services meeting with Clementine tomorrow, blood work for the kid on Tuesday morning (it has to be fasting blood work too which will be a new level of hell for all of us), psych appointment on Wednesday, Jon visiting from Wednesday to Friday, morning prayer\/Bible study on Thursday, and whatever else comes up.<\/p>\n
