{"id":7556,"date":"2016-04-20T20:51:25","date_gmt":"2016-04-21T03:51:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/grace-filled.net\/?p=7556"},"modified":"2016-04-20T20:51:25","modified_gmt":"2016-04-21T03:51:25","slug":"five-favorites-miscellanea-lxiii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grace-filled.net\/?p=7556","title":{"rendered":"{five favorites}: Miscellanea (LXIII)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/grace-filled.net\/fivefavorites.jpg\" alt=\"#5Faves\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><strong>One<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>Coptic Holy Week music.<\/strong> Laura, the amazing tasoni and blogger at <a href=\"http:\/\/copticdadandmom.com\">Coptic Dad and Mom<\/a>, has put together <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLqin0Fr648TBLxfDJ6G3GD6j_fgplP6EJ\">a YouTube channel of Coptic Holy Week music<\/a> so that the <a href=\"http:\/\/suscopts.org\/\">Coptic<\/a> readers of her blog can teach their kids (and themselves in some cases) the songs that they&#8217;ll be singing in church next week which is their Holy Week. They company produced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SpodeUK\/videos\/498594663660262\/?pnref=story\">this video<\/a> which shows the making of each piece.<\/p>\n<p>Kind of a cool story: my great-great-aunt had a set of pink Spode that got passed down to a couple of the women in my mom&#8217;s generation.  The set was actually the second set she had ordered (and it was service for 24!) because the first set was on a ship sailing from England to America that was sunk by a German u-boat during World War II.<\/p>\n<p><center><strong>Three<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>Naps.<\/strong>  I have a small child who is not sleeping well so I had to take one today.  It was glorious.<\/p>\n<p><center><strong>Four<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prescription sunglasses.<\/strong>  I&#8217;m on my second pair.  Given how migraine-prone I am, it&#8217;s money well-spent.<\/p>\n<p><center><strong>Five<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>Air-conditioning.<\/strong>  It&#8217;s been in the 80&#8217;s here.
