For Today…<\/strong> July 17, 2016<\/p>\n

Looking out my window…<\/strong> sunny and in the 70’s today. I’m loving the climate here.<\/p>\n

I am thinking…<\/strong> about my week and some things I’m having to sort through in my personal life.<\/p>\n

I am thankful…<\/strong> for an amazing service at St. Paul’s<\/a>. I felt connected and present in worship for the first time in a long time.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite things…<\/strong>looking out of my bedroom window and seeing all the trees. Washington really is the Evergreen State and I am so lucky to be in a place where the developers have left some intentional green space.<\/p>\n

I am wearing…<\/strong> an emerald green shirt from Fred Meyer<\/a> and black slacks from Kohl’s<\/a> for church this morning with my black flats from Naturalizer<\/a> that have worked incredibly well for the last two years. (This<\/a> is the shoe for those who are wondering.) After church, I swapped the slacks out for my black capris from Kohl’s<\/a> and flip-flops from Old Navy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I am creating…<\/strong> emails and this blog post. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I am watching…<\/strong> a Leverage<\/a> marathon on ION<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I am hoping…<\/strong> some of the ick in my mood and in my life goes away. It’s been a hard week and a half in some respects.<\/p>\n

I am learning…<\/strong> to take a really long walk before writing a difficult email or letter.<\/p>\n

In my kitchen…<\/strong> frozen dinner tonight. I need to go through my cookbook collection and find stuff I can cook that actually makes me want to eat. My appetite is getting zapped by the nausea I’m having because of nerves.<\/p>\n

In the school room…<\/strong> Daniel is loving ESY and continues to have good days. He seems to work well with the teachers and aides. School is definitely a positive in his life and I’m glad I resisted the pressure to homeschool him.<\/p>\n

Post Script…<\/strong> I wanted to share this for all the introverts like me out there: our brains need silence!<\/a><\/p>\n
