(I’m the sleeping one.) I’m not sure my parents have forgiven us yet for having to give up their Star Wars tickets because we arrived 2 days early!

My flu symptoms started abating yesterday while other symptoms developed. I saw my P.A. today and I have an appointment with a specialist for what it might be. (I’d prefer not to say in an unpassworded entry.) Eating is still not a hobby but I did manage to keep down lunch OK.
I still feel crappy but I’m relatively ambulatory. We did errands today and I put my in-law’s birthday money for me on a Foot Locker giftcard so that I could have it when I needed to replace my running shoes. I’m also hoping that my brother gets me a Lands’ End gift certificate so I can do some clothes shopping.
Finances just blew up in our faces.
I’m vomiting up everything I’m eating.
Gee… could it be Friday the 13th?
In response to Sen. Bill Frist’s fight over filibustering, the students at Princeton (his alma mater) are having a mock filibuster. Considering that they’ve acted out Shakespeare plays and read from the Q section of the dictionary while doing this, I am finding it highly amusing.
I’m watching a marathon of “SuperNanny” on ABC Family and I’m seeing some effective methods of discipline that do not involve spanking.
So… I want to throw the question out to all y’all: should you spank your child? Leave the answer in my comments.
