The Good, The Bad, and The Furry

The Good
-Our stay in the Cities from Sunday night to Tuesday night was wonderful.
-The Ministerial Health Assessment was very painless and actually really affirming.
-I got sushi for dinner on Monday night.
-I walked miles and miles around the U of M campus.
-I got to binge on $tarbucks.

The Bad
-I got pulled over by the Highway Patrol outside of Hutchinson for being all over the road. (Thankfully, the cop believed that I was just really tired and dizzy from low blood sugar and let me off without a ticket provided I let Jon drive the rest of the way.)
-Some church pain got dumped in our lap minutes after finishing the ministerial health stuff.
-I have WICKED hayfever that’s causing me to be headachy, congested, and nauseous.
-We’re having to borrow to cover our taxes and I have to get all the paperwork done tonight.

The Furry
-My panther has been a love since we got back. She’s beating me with her (very long) tail, putting her paws on my lap, and snuggling with me whenever I’m curled up in a ball in bed.
-Loki came by today and is looking OK.

A New Addition to the Family

Jon and I have decided that we want to get a puppy. I know this is totally going to shock most of you who know I’m a cat person, but I really love Jack Russell terriers and there’s a parishioner who raises them.

We’re going to call him Eddie and we’re going to pick him up from them next weekend.

The kitties will have someone new to play with!

APRIL FOOLS!

Prayer Answered

We came home from church today and found two bags of groceries on our doorstep as well as a card containing a $100 bill. I think I know who left them but I can’t prove it. I’m seriously weeping with joy as we’ve got a massive tax bill coming up and I’ve been flattened with anxiety over where to get the money for it. This is helping us out muchly.

God does answer prayer. Alleluia.

Prayers Are Needed

I have a doctor’s appointment today that I really don’t want to go to but that I need to go to because they’re playing with my anxiety meds. Prayers would be muchly appreciated.

Update: Meds are being kept at status quo.
