Dear Pearle Vision,
You sold me the Pearle protection plan on my glasses 4 months ago. Do me a favor and HONOR THE BLEEPING AGREEMENT!!!!! You’re the ones who sold me discontinued frames with said warranty. FIX MY GLASSES! If I have to drive at least 2 hours one way to deal with this, at least MAKE IT WORTH MY WHILE!!!!!!!!
Hugs and kisses,
jen

Sinus Infections, Taebo, and Idiot Long Distance, Oh My!
Well… I did manage to make it into town for a doctor’s appointment yesterday and waited 45 minutes to be seen even though I was on time. The doctor was OK — I got my drugs and all; but he wasn’t super personable. He put me on Biaxin which isn’t giving me the stomach cramps though it’s leaving a yucky taste in my mouth.
Despite my infection, I managed 30 minutes of taebo last night. I’m trying to get back in the habit of working out almost every day, especially since I’ve been downing soda like water. (It keeps my stomach calm with antibiotics and Coke is kind of my comfort food.) I’ll probably work out during Confirmation tomorrow — not gonna happen today since I slept in and missed my workout opportunities. I’d go walking but it’s cold and miserable out. I’ll work out before watching “The Biggest Loser” finale. It’s only 30 minutes and I need to be committed to this.
As for long distance, MCI didn’t cancel my account which means Churches 1 and 2 in Minnesota just got some free long distance. I emailed MCI and screamed at them. Hopefully they resolve this?
World AIDS Day
Light a candle and $1 will be given toward AIDS research.

Portsmouth Tea
I tend to not be all that much of a tea person (my husband Jon however is another story) but I do think that any tea company with a tea blog is REALLY cool. I checked out their tea selection and the teas I’d probably be ordering if it was my choice are the Masala Chai (I’m a fan of South Asian food and got hooked on chai after a friend who was a missionary in India made it for me) and the Apricot Peach Fruit tea.
Their teaware is also lovely.
Why I’m Pissed That I Have This Sinus Infection
To Do in the Next 24 Hours
-get flowers set up for church
-get bread split and to church
-figure out my church clothes for tomorrow and make sure they’re clean Thanks Jon!
-make sure I have someone to help me clean up tomorrow
-read lessons at Church #1’s service both services
-get curricula organized for Wednesday
The Zithromax is kicking in and I managed to get by with only one co-pay. (My stupid prescription insurance only gives me 4 pills when the normally prescribed dosage is 5. I had one left over from the meds I had before surgery in June, so I have my 5 pills and only had to pay for 4 of them.) I’m starting to feel a little better though death is still looking preferable because of the freaking post nasal drip in my throat. For asthmatics like me, it feels like someone has stuffed a wet towel down my throat.

Sinus Woes
I have an appointment at the clinic in an hour. Please, for the love of all deities, let them find cause to give me antibiotics for this plague that is raging in my sinuses and causing massive headaches, ear pain, throat pain, dizziness, nausea, and a fever last night!!!!!!!!!!
UPDATE: I have my drugs. All is sort of right with the world.
