Thanksgiving at Casa K-M

We didn’t get any invites today and I’m still fighting the cold/respiratory infection so we decided to just stay in and have me make a nice romantic dinner for the two of us.Â? I got things for lasagna last night as well as some garlic bread.Â? I had a bottle of Martinelli Sparkling Apple-Cranberry stowed away for New Year’s Eve but we decided to break it out tonight.Â? It was a pretty good dinner — the lasagna was runny but we had good food and we’re thankful to not have to worry about where our next meal is going to come from.

Sports This Saturday

Not even going to think about the carnage wreaked in the OSU-Michigan game.Â? *shudders* It was thankfully over by the time I woke up to watch TV today.

I was watching the Bobcat-Grizzly game (the Montana equivalent of OSU-Michigan) with my very wonderful tabbykins Cullen.Â? He’s been my couch buddy for the last couple days.Â? He’ll come purr at me while I eat and sleep on top of the couch within petting distance when I’m napping.

Griz were up 14-3 at halftime.Â? I’m not expecting the Bobcats to catch up though anything could theoretically happen.

And OMG… what is up with the retro uniforms on the Griz?Â? I was wondering if I watching the correct game or if it was today’s match-up!!!Â? I guess they’re the 1980’s ones???Â? And the colors are a little weird???Â? Copper and gold and silver???Â? So NOT that nice-looking!!!!

The 2008 Crud Montana Tour

So it seems like everyone and their mother has the crud and that includes Jon.Â? I was home with a migraine on Friday and I think he spent more time in bed that day than I did (which is saying something!).Â? Yesterday, he came home and went to bed early after putting together the reports for Church #2’s annual meeting (which they have in November instead of January like every other NORMAL church on the planet does).

Today, our organist was out sick and Jon had a froggy voice.Â? As I have no immune system due to the sea monkey, I’m quarantining Jon right now.Â? (Well… once he gets home from the annual meeting.)

Oh yeah… we told people “the news” today.Â? No stupid questions for me though I also left after church instead of going to coffee so I didn’t really give people a chance to ask them. There’s always next week…
