Train Wreck
Maybe it’s good that I didn’t hear about this before my interview today? I would have been an emotional wreck if I had! My father-in-law routinely takes that train and he was thankfully (!!!!!!) on a retreat on Wednesday instead of going to his church.
There will be prayers said for the victims and their families this Sunday…
Initial Interview
I PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS!!!!!
I am seriously almost in tears with joy because this was something that I’d been so afraid of and it went just unbelievably well.

Initial Interview
I have my initial interview to re-start my candidacy process for ordained ministry on Friday at 3 pm CST. Prayers would be very greatly appreciated.
De-Icing the Car
I was all prepped to do some taebo this evening when Jon came back in the house and announced that the doors to the car were iced shut. We tried boiling water, screwdrivers, and hairdryers before I went and got a neighbor who helped us try and get one of the doors open. (The problem, I think, was that the latches were also frozen.) It took us a good 90 minutes to do this. I ended up going with Jon to the churches so that I could make sure that he could get back in the car.
Taebo will be tomorrow — I’m cold and crabby and am off to shower and go to sleep!
Guess Norwegians Are Gonna Mess With Texas…
Yahoo.Com: Bush ‘Hook ’em, ‘horns’ salute sign confounds Norwegians.
I laugh only because I live with a bunch of Norwegians.
