I started having really severe stomach pain after eating last night and then started throwing up. After an hour of vomiting so badly that I was almost choking on it, Jon and I went to the E.R. where they stabbed me for blood, did a UA, and did two stomach x-rays. The stomach x-rays showed that I had a whole lot of stool sitting in my system, so the M.D. (who I am not incredibly fond of) gave me a bottle of laxative and told me to take half tonight and half in the morning.

I got home completely exhausted and took half the bottle. I then started vomiting pretty violently and between vomiting spasms, I checked the bottle. Apparently, I was supposed to dilute it in 4 oz. of water. Brilliant one there… It’s 4:30 a.m. and my stomach still hasn’t cleared. Hopefully the other half in a few hours will do something?!?!?!?!?

I also am on clear liquids until further notice. The ultrasound techs will be in on Monday and I’ll be getting an ultrasound of my gallbladder because apparently, the bloodwork indicated a blockage in my bile ducts. Joy of joys…
