Faithful or Religious

To all my readers who are devout in their faith:

Do you consider yourself faithful or religious?

Leave your answers in the comments by Friday at noon MST.Â? (It’s for my podcast.)

About Jen

Jen isn't quite sure when she lost her mind, but it is probably documented here on Meditatio. She blogs because the world needs her snark at all hours of the night... and she probably can't sleep anyway.

  1. I would say I’m more faithful than religious. But as soon as I do, I think I get real religious about it. Maybe.

    What was the question?

  2. Hmmm…I guess, because I’m a bit of a slacker, I’m more faithful. My religious-ness wavers (reading Scripture, attending services, etc.), but I tend to remain faithful and in communication with God throughout it all.

  3. Since I consider it that I’m in a relationship, rather than just a religious person, I’d say faithful. Or something. Not “religious.”

The only thing I do religiously is have a cup of coffee first thing in the AM.

  4. Definitely faithful. I’ve come to feel that religion is about people, faith is about God, and so religion hasn’t been a priority for me for a while.
