Random Conversations on Canadian Christianity

leenielikescake: in other news, i’ve been emailing back and forth with the richard you linked in a recent entry!
gracefulfemina: i think his wife is wondering about the 20 year old women that he’s talking to these days!***
leenielikescake: heh
leenielikescake: i also sent brianna’s friend jeff an email last night… he has some very good thoughts about christianity, i think.
gracefulfemina: yes
gracefulfemina: canadians seem to have a better grip on christianity than we do for some reason.
leenielikescake: well. maybe not more than we (eileen and jen) do. let’s move to canada!
gracefulfemina: jon and i have been talking about that since our honeymoon.
leenielikescake: πŸ™‚

***(Richard: we are hoping Shannon is OK with us talking to you.)

  1. Of course she’s OK with me talking with you!

Oh. Waitasec. Hmmm. I think I’m doing a "guy thing" at the moment. Hold on. (Running up the stairs.) πŸ™‚

Nope. She doesn’t mind me talking with you. *chuckle*

By the way, I don’t think we Canadians have "a better grip on christianity". It’s just, well… don’t tell anybody but…

    We like to think.
    A lot.
    You see, thinking fires nurons.
    Therefore, thinking = warmth.
And warmth, in Canada, is "a good thing." πŸ˜‰

By the way, we have a long tradition of welcoming immigrants.

    Blessings and peace, SisterFriends.

    Richard
