Christmas Open House Ideas

I found out that the parish kind of expects the pastor to have an open house at Christmas. This isn’t a problem (as I have about 6 weeks of warning) and I thought I’d invite some of the kids to come and help me with the baking and decorating.

Do any of you have good kid-friendly recipes for cookies, quick breads, or bars? If you do, please email me at daughterofeve at peacefulwaters dot org.

About Jen

Jen isn't quite sure when she lost her mind, but it is probably documented here on Meditatio. She blogs because the world needs her snark at all hours of the night... and she probably can't sleep anyway.

  1. Every new years day, we have our annual chilli party

Good thing is, you can mail-order some good mixes from HardTimes if you don’t have a good recipe.

You can also invite others to bring some.

We provide pasta, beans, onions, cheese … hmmmm .. had to forgoe last year because of move – but not THIS year!
