I regret to say that I will not be able to participate in Buy Nothing Day this year.

The reason: I’ll be in Great Falls and as it’s the closest Joann Fabrics around, I am going to be needing to pick up 3 yards of fleece for some Project Linus blankies.

Is my sin of going out and being a consumer expiated by the fact that the end result is charitable?
