I posted this link a couple of days ago and got a flaming email along with another link which was totally confrontational in style and content.
As a prominent pastor said here in Sydney, these are fellow Christians and deserve our support and prayer. He noted that one of his most encouraging moments was worshipping in Israel alonside both Palestinian and Israeli Christians.
Last January I had the wonderful experience of hearing Bishara Awad, the principal of Bethlehem Bible College. I was humbled as I listened to this man who had been through so much. I was already sympathetic to his cause but his manner and words were amazing.
Unfortunately my husband definitely does not share my views on this subject, so I keep fairly quiet about them.
