FOR TODAY February 21, 2011
Outside my window… Sunny and chilly. I got spoiled by southern California — I need to grow a winter coat!
I am thinking… that it’s worth it to have Daniel tear up the kitchen in order to get this post done. I’m also thinking that the table cloth and pretty arrangement are going to be gone imminently because he likes to pull on them.
I am thankful for… naptime. Enough said.
From the kitchen… Kraft Deluxe Mac n’ Cheese. Yes, it’s horrifically bad for me. It was also what I craved this morning.
I am wearing… light green v-neck shirt, black sweats.
I am creating… this entry. Also formulating an interesting idea for NaNoWriMo. Too bad that it isn’t until November.
I am going… to the store for diapers right after I write this.
I am reading… nothing at the moment. Also going to stop at the library.
I am hoping… that this two year old molar teething stops soon for Daniel.
I am hearing… Daniel wailing. His fangs hurt.
Around the house… boxes still abound but we’re working on it.
One of my favorite things… Cullen being a snuggle kitty at night.
A few plans for the rest of the week: unpacking as much as I can when I can.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing… Daniel’s new nursery
Hosted by The Simple Woman’s Daybook
Nursery looks good … and important place for naptime and teeth wailing!
Yay! His very own room all to himself. How are you all adjusting? I will be putting some stuff in the mail to you on Wednesday, that you should have no later than Friday.
Welcome to Northern California!
and yes, I do have your new addy.
Hi Jen! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and commenting. Your comment cracked me up! No, I am definitely not an uber-religious home-schoolin’ mom of 9! 🙂 More like a struggling to stay above water working mom of three! No, I’m not Mormon. I really like some of the Mormon blogs for some reason though… haven’t quite pinpointed why. I think I am impressed with their dedication, their community, and their ability to parent many children in a way that seems graceful, even if my religous beliefs don’t match theirs. Does that make any sense? I know it is a generalization, and likely not true of all Mormons, but that is the sense I have from some of the blogs I read. I’ve clicked around on your blog a bit and like it too!
Oh, and I meant to add… that picture in your last daybook entry of you and your little Daniel is SO sweet! I’m so sorry to hear about the preeclampsia and HELLP. They were worried about HELLP with my third pregnancy when I started showing some symptoms of it, but fortunately I didn’t have it. It definitely sounded scary though. I hope he is doing well now!
