Our leaves from last fall are still sitting on the lawn. Someone from our church (who has to do a certain amount of community service for his program) came over and got the stuff raked up that was blowing in our neighbors’ yard. I’m going to go out and tackle it this afternoon but I’m trying to figure out how to do it without upsetting my asthma. (My EVIL insurance company is *not* going to cover an ER visit for asthma — I can put money on that.)
They should cover the visit for asthma as long as it’s not already been judged a preexisting condition. You may also have to prove you have been taking your preventive steroids.
I’ve gone three times to the ER for asthma and never had trouble, although it hadn’t been determined a PEC because I hadn’t been diagnosed before I got on that particular HMO.
With this company, *EVERYTHING* is a pre-existing condition or billed as such. My ER visit for my cyst in February was billed as the psych ward.
