Jobs and Taxes

We went to see the accountant who is doing our taxes today. He got our information and will file our stuff electronically. He also dropped an interesting bombshell: our taxes are now quarterly and will be $1300 on April 15th. I wish I’d known this 2 months ago when I could have done something about it. *sigh* Such is life. We’ll come up with the funds even though it puts a kink in our lives for the next 6 weeks. I talked to my in-laws and they told me about some things that I should have brought up and he should have asked about, so maybe some of that figure can decrease. We’ll see.

Our local classifieds finally had a job that might be viable for me. (“Viable” means that it isn’t nursing, animal husbandry, farm work, or waitressing.) One of the local hospitals needs a charge receptionist and scheduler. I’m applying as I might actually have a shot at it even if it isn’t huge. Clerical jobs aren’t plentiful around here and I might have a bit of competition. Keep this in prayer (for those of you who pray), OK?
