A Blessed Pentecost to You!

Tutti i presenti furono pieni di Spirito Santo e cominciarono a parlare in altre lingue, come lo Spirito Santo li guidava.

The Joys of Small Town Life

I went to the pharmacy to get my Allegra refilled and found out that I had no refills left.  They let me call down to my doctor’s office and I left a message for one of the docs that I see (not the prescriber — he’s out today) to ask for a refill on it.

After going over to the local coffeeshop and spending some time reading letters and the paper, I came back to the pharmacy not expecting to actually *HAVE* them refill it.  Well… it turns out that the doctor’s office called and asked about my history with the drug and my pharmacist told them that I’d had it for at least the 18 months he’s known me and to please fill it.

So… I had to wait another 5 minutes but I at least got my Allegra today.  It’s nice to have a pharmacist who knows me enough to advocate for me.  :)

The Feast Day of St. Jen of the Banana Slugs

It’s my cubic birthday today.  (Figure it out yourselves.)  Jon and I went down to Great Falls and saw Shrek the Third.  I enjoyed it (despite what others thought) and I recommend it — it’s cute and it involves an orange kitty.  :)

We also hit up the mall and I got some stuff at Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret before seeing the movie, getting $tarbuck$, and heading over to my aunt and uncle’s for dinner.  After the visit with the family, we made a Wal-Mart run and headed back up to our Little Town on the Prairie.

Thank you to everyone who sent cards, left me MySpace and Facebook messages, and snet good karma my way.  It was a nice birthday, especially since I wasn’t stuck in the ER with a gallstone attack like I was 2 years ago!!!
