We had to take Freya in to get her stitches removed and the following conversation ensued:

Jen: Do you have the gremlin?
Jon: Yes I do.
Jen: She is such a savage little beast.
Jon: Yes, but she’s also such a darling little beast.

It was funny at the time as one does not usually associate the words “darling” and “beast”. Then again, Jon also does not have his hair attacked by 6 pounds of tabbage patch cat multiple times a day.
