Montana Ho

We leave for a quickie train trip to Montana on Sunday night. Amtrak was the cheapest way for them to get us out there (it was about $400 total for both of us) and it’s 17 hours of quiet time for Jon and for me. I’m hoping that all goes well with the visit and the interviews and such. I’ll also get to see some family while we’re out there too. SCORE!!!!

On another note… I FINALLY PASSED MY ROAD TEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Little Jen has her driver’s license!!!!!!!

Lamentations 3:22-23

His mercies are new each morning…

No joke. Jon got a call from Montana on his cell phone at 7:45 this morning. Apparently, Billings’ local option wasn’t a go, so they want to interview him.

UPDATE: He’s heard from 3 of the 4 churches now.

Duuuuude… I guess prayer does work.

Duuuuude…

I had just gotten out of the shower after my walk when the phone rang. It was someone asking for Jon using my half of the last name so I thought it might be a telemarketer. It turned out to be Mark Nelson from Eastern Washington-Idaho Synod and he has a possible church for Jon in Idaho Falls!!!!

Talk about a quick answer to some heavy prayers!!!!! Jon went from no prospects to 3 of them within 12 hours!
