They let me out of the hospital yesterday.Â? They removed all the staples and crud from my incision and put steri-strips on it.Â? Let me just say that I really prefer the steri-strips!
We went back down to Great Falls today and spent two care times with Daniel.Â? He’s doing well and the second care time involved us just sitting with him as he napped and squeezed our fingers.Â? Jon reads to him every day and he is becoming well-versed in Dr. Seuss.Â? :)Â? (Reading actually *helps* the babies.)
I’m working on getting the CaringBridge site up and will put the link up here once I have it in place.
Hooray for getting out! Hard to leave without Daniel, I know. Enjoy all the snuggles you can get.
Oh, Jen and Jon and Daniel, Our prayers are certainly with you!!! Emily was born prematurely due to me developing pre-eclampsia so I know what you are going through. I will be honest and tell you that it is a very long road, sometimes not easy, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any preemie advice along the way. I’m glad you’re setting up a CaringBridge site. That will help in keeping folks updated without having to repeat the info over and over to people. Please let me know if there’s anything we can do! Greta
You are in my thoughts and prayers Jen!
Congrats and praying for you three.
– Peace
Hugs for all of you. Take it a day at a time and be good to yourself. Trust your instincts – you and Jon are already AWESOME parents and it’s been less than a week!
Peace to you.
Woo hoo!! Way to go – and congrats all around.
