From Ask A Ninja:
I tell ya pudding makes everything more fun … except major surgery and wood working and VCR repair and anything you can get from an online degree — it probably doesn’t go with pudding.Â? De Vry’s and pudding do not mix.
Go watch.Â? Do it now!
0930: Wake-up, eat some yogurt, take my morning pills, dress.
1000: Leave for coffee.Â? Spend 3 minutes trying to get car out of driveway area and turned around.
1015: Arrive at coffee.Â? Make iced non-fat vanilla lattÃ? and settle in for some kitty love and crocheting.
1100: My turn for a massage.Â? Strip, hop on table between sheets, and have the yuckiness worked out of my neck and back.
1200: Am told to head out because another person was stuck in the parking area and if I needed help, I needed to go now.Â? Turn car on, drive over snow-covered highway, get mail, head toward parsonage.
1210: Find that car will not navigate through foot of snow into garage.Â? Curse at snow.Â? Grab shovel and shovel out a path.
1215: Finally get car into garage.Â? Hike to church to tell Jon and other pastors about snow.Â? Explain to Jon that he needs to cancel his afternoon and evening plans due to weather.Â? Eat steaming bowl of soup handed to me by WELCA lady.
1300: Leave church, walk to house while blinded by snow.
1308: Enter house, jump into hot shower to warm up.Â? Try to get breathing passages open that closed due to physical activity in cold air.
So the tire tracks are now full of snow 3 hours later.Â? It’s supposed to stop snowing tomorrow so I might have to shovel quite a bit so Jon can get to his continuing ed on Thursday.
Let’s see… what has happened in the last 7 days:
– the Volvo shorted out something that they are taking forever to figure out
– we had chinook winds twice
– we’ve gotten 7 inches of snow cumulatively
– I got diagnosed with a sinus infection (surprise, surprise)
– I got checked out after the accident about 2 weeks ago
– I went down to Great Falls
– I took the LSAT
And… yeah.Â? It seemed like a crazier week but mostly because I was trying to work things around going down to Great Falls.
OK… skipping the postgame show. This is my rundown.
The Good
–the Cirque de Soleil performers during the pre-game.
-the moment of silence for the tornado victims
-Billy Joel doing the National Anthem tastefully
-Marlee Matlin doing the National Anthem in ASL
-the touchdown scored off the kickoff
-Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith hugging at the end of the game (good sportsmanship)
The Bad
-the commercials were interrupted by obnoxious interludes of football
-the rain on the field made it harder to play
-having to discipline the panther for scratching at the carpet (she’s now soaking wet from the “ENFORCEMENT” bottle as she was a repeat offender)
