About Jen

Jen isn't quite sure when she lost her mind, but it is probably documented here on Meditatio. She blogs because the world needs her snark at all hours of the night... and she probably can't sleep anyway.

FOR TODAY December 7, 2010

Outside my window… it’s dark and the lamps are lit.

I am thinking… that I really dislike the Christmas kitschy music at $tarbux.

I am thankful for… Jon coming home tomorrow.

From the kitchen… nothing from scratch — that’s for sure!

I am wearing… a green shirt, black hoodie, and jeans.

I am creating… this entry. 🙂

I am going… to OT/PT tomorrow with Daniel.

I am reading… some Alexander McCall Smith books.

I am hoping… Daniel goes down without a fight tonight.

I am hearing… my Christmas playlist on iTunes.

Around the house… I have less housework to do than I did before.

One of my favorite things… Daniel’s laugh.

A few plans for the rest of the week: OT/PT tomorrow, teaching my m-i-l some computer stuff, and taking Mr. Socks to the vet tomorrow.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing… Arthur Socks (a.k.a. Mr. Socks and Arthur Soxson)

NaNoWriMo Update

So I’m about halfway in and am keeping up. Yay!

I only have two people to kill off so far. In order to have the fictitious DaHorror.Com website in my story, I need more. If you want me to kill you off creatively, go to Daniel’s March of Dimes band and donate. (I don’t care how much it is — $5 is totally acceptable to me.) Leave me a comment on how you want to die and I’ll send you a copy of the paragraph where I kill you off.

FOR TODAY November 8, 2010

Outside my window… sunshine after a rainy day yesterday.

I am thinking… about where my NaNo story is going.

I am thankful for… being able to spend time at my parents’ house this weekend.

I am wearing… a grey maternity shirt and pajama bottoms.

I am creating… my NaNo story

I am going… back up to Sacramento today.

I am reading… Winter’s Child by Margaret Maron.

I am hoping… I can get some stuff knocked off my mental to-do list this week.

I am hearing… Daniel kicking on the floor.

Around the house… I’ll probably have a massive amount of sweeping to do on Wednesday morning. (We get home Tuesday night.)

One of my favorite things… Daylight Savings Time ending and being able to get an hour of extra sleep.

A few plans for the rest of the week: try to catch up on my word count for my NaNo story and choir practice on Wednesday.
