The Simple Woman’s Daybook: April 2, 2018

For Today…

Simple Woman's Daybook

Looking out my window… cloudy though it was sunny earlier. Our weather has been going from extreme to extreme lately, and that has led to knee pain and migraines for me.

I am thinking… about school which technically starts tomorrow though I’m working on two discussion board posts right now and don’t have a physical class until Wednesday.

I am thankful… for a good visit with my uncle and his new wife. We had 13 people for dinner yesterday and 2 more stopped in later!

One of my favorite things… Easter worship. Good hymns, our anthem went well, and Helen’s sermon was excellent.

I am wearing… a long-sleeved charcoal heather shirt and jeans capris.

I am creating… discussion board posts.

I am listening to… Mom play the piano.

I am hoping… to have some decent outings with Daniel while he is on Spring Break this week. I just bought a Discover Pass and I think we’ll maybe head to the slough in a few days.

I am learning… that my neighbors love my “Dump Trump” bumper sticker and were amused when I duct-taped over it yesterday to keep the peace at Easter dinner yesterday. (My mom also hid my father’s Trump voodoo doll temporarily for the same reason.)

In my kitchen… leftovers! I predict a wonderful dinner tonight.

In the school room… Daniel is on Spring Break.

Post Script… here is something for the #walkupnotwalkout crowd.

A moment from my day… Some music for Easter!
